Over the weekend, the affable and charming Barry Cohen and Max Robertson introduced me to the new 2010 Luminox collection that are set to release from now until holidays. Luminox is a military-themed brand known mostly for its quartz watches and with price points from $225 up to $2,300.
The biggest buzz is the Luminox Deep Dive, a 500 meter automatic dive watch with a helium escape valve, wet suit extension and bezel locking system. The locking system actually works and is patent pending.
For 2010, the Colormark BlackOut series is a black on black monochrome watch. The ladies Colormark BlackOut looks great on the wrist and features a 38mm case and an MSRP of $295. The luminescence on this is blue, making it a little more unique.
Finally, a look at the new Luminox Field watch. Apparently, actors LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell wear Luminox watches both on-and-off the NCIS television show. They wore a Field BlackOut prototype which resulted in consumer demand to the company.
