Δεν ειναι η πρωτη φορα που η μικρη αυτη εταιρια μας επιφυλλασει χαρουμενες εκπληξεις.αυτη τη φορα ομως ξεπερασε καθε φαντασια !

Damasko is currently applying for a new patent. Damasko has developed a new production technique to produce hairsprings.

After three years of development the “Epi-Poly -Silicon” (EPS®) is ready for serial production.

It is a poly crystalline silicone which is for the first time produced as a layer out of vapour deposition (Please do not ask me for technical details, I already had difficulties to translate all that stuff).

Due to the vapour deposition it is possible to create crystals in nanometer size which makes that material a perfect substance for mechanical applications.

The in-house movement A 35 which is developed by Damasko will not only be fitted with an EPS® hairspring. The escapement wheel, lever and double roller will be made out of the new material.




It will still need some month to present the A 35 to the public. The A 35 will also feature a complete new and patented winding mechanism. Heart of that new mechanism is a 4-spot-hybride-bearing. This and the rotor bearing will be lubricant free due to the chosen material mix of steel barrel band and bearing balls made out of a ceramic material



Almost 3 Million Euro have been invested to achieve the stage Damasko has achieved as of today. Most of the money went into the machinery.

From now on pallets, wheels, pinions, barrels, rotors, bearings, balances, escapements will be produced in-house.

Furthermore surface treatments like decorative engravings, spotting(s) and galvanic processes will be executed in-house.

This is kind of a quantum jump for Damasko, who already produced cases, crowns, pushers and tubes 100% in-house. Their vertical range of manufacture increased dramatically by the efforts taken over the last three years.

Πολλα τα λεφτα....



here is an article in a German language newspaper, indicating a range of € 3-4k for the new (Damsko's own) movements with silicone parts:



Wow! That's a big price jump. I may have to get my name off of the list for this watch. I had thought a modest increase was in order (50-75% maybe), but more than 4x the cost for a "DA35" over a DA36 is too much.

Saw that one rumored price for the DC66/67 Si is discounted at introduction to "only" 2500 Euro. That's 800 Euro more for an incremental improvement, but not the full in-house chrono movement.

I guess my DA36 will appreciate in value, but at these prices it's likely to be an only child. I can't afford to bring any of his brothers home...

Damasko has announced the release of two new models, the DC66 Si and DC 67 Si

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

This year will show some novelties by Damasko, which will also include our own watch movement. New models and a possible steel strap will follow.
First of all, the following two models will appear in order to introduce our new technologies.

Damasko DC66 Si and Damasko DC67 Si

We have based this new release on our tested models DC66 and DC67, and have replaced the steel spring by our silicon spring on the conventional ETA escapement, as well as the balance wheel by our Gyromax screw balance and the complete balance bridge. The spring barrel was also exchanged - into a stronger variant of the main spring, for optimal power reserve and chronometer quality. And apart from that, the rotor plus rotor bearing with ceramic balls for lubricant-free operation.

From now on, our watches will generally be delivered with movement values in chronometer quality (without certificate).
These two models will be available within the next 6 weeks and then be offered at an introductory price initially.




The introductory price for both DC66 Si and DC67 Si is 2500 euros each.

Αυτοί Si, εγώ Νο!! Πολλά τα λεφτά για ....σιλικονάτο!!

Ειναι πολυπλευρο το θεμα..απο την μαρκα,ακομα και την χρηση μιας τεχνολογικης λυσης που αρκετοι δεν θεωρουν αξιοπιστη .Αλλο ενα αρνητικο ειναι,οτι το ρολοι σου θα πρεπει να παει μονο στην εταιρια για σερβις και σιγουρα το κοστος δεν θα ειναι και τοσο μικρο.

Σαν μια μικρη οικογενειακη επιχειρηση που ειναι ,δεν ξερεις αν θα υπαρχει ακομα σε μερικα χρονια.Τα ρολογια της θα παρουν αξια Η απλα θα αποτελουν μια ακομα προσπαθεια που δεν ειχε συνεχεια

Η χρηση "ψαγμενων" τεχνολογιων ,σαν αυτη ,εχει ενα μεγαλο ποσοστο διαφημισης και οχι απαραιτητα πρακτικη αξια.

Γιατι δεν το εκανα μεγαλοι του χωρου ,που δοκιμασαν ,χρονια πριν αυτα τα υλικα?

Τα λεφτα δεν ειναι παρα πολλα,γιατι αλλοι με 2.500 σου εχουν στα ρολογια τους μια "απλη " ΕΤΑ,αλλα καποιοι αλλοι σου εχουν μια co-axial  ..Αλλου εχω ενστασεις

Διορθώστε με οι πιο γνώστες αν κάνω λάθος.
α. Το σπιράλ είναι ίσως ο καλύτερος εργάτης της μηχανής. Ακούραστος και ασταμάτητος.
β. Τα "παλιά" σπιράλ δούλευαν χρόνια χωρίς να σπάνε, χωρίς να χαλάνε.

πως ξέρουμε ότι η σιλικόνη θα δείξει την ίδια αντοχή με το πέρασμα του χρόνου;
