In 1990 they introduced the radio controlled wrist watch to their range. Also in this year, Diehl took over Ruhla which then came under the control of Junghans and was renamed Eurochron in 1991.

Junghans and it's items. subsidiary, Eurochron, have been owned by the Egana Goldpfeil Group since 2000. By 2001, the only manufacturing done by Junghans is their radio controlled clocks and watches.
