Orsa not covering their own warranty
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's the story:
A couple of weeks ago I purchased an Orsa Monstrum from a WUS'er here in my city of Montreal.
While I was happy with the purchase I later noticed that the bezel did not align with the 12 o'clock mark. As I know this isn't the problem of the seller and that the watch is still under warranty I contacted the maker. After searching further I saw that some others had the same affliction.
They responded with the answer that they do not cover bezel fixes under warranty and that I should find a watchmaker who will fix it locally as it would be cheaper then shipping it to them.
Once I received that answer I was completely turned off by their customer service.
I've bought a Wilson 2K Diver which I knew that the bezel does not align properly as multiple people have mentioned but at least Wilson makes it a point to say on their website that warranties are not transferable. At least I know what I'm getting into and can accept it.
Orsa does no such thing. It doesn't say warranties are non-transferable on their website nor on the warranty card nor do they admit to their bezel's being off.
This is a disappointing situation to say the least.
