Because of the special steel used from the submarine steel manufacturer, and the use of Sinn's Tegiment technology, this bezel can be hardened up to 1500 Vickers instead of the usual 220 Vickers used on most watch cases. Further, the case resists the effects of exposure to salt water and salt water environments. Unlike the Sinn U1 and Sinn U2, the Sinn UX features an ETA 955.652 quartz movement rather than a mechanical movement. By using this type of movement, Sinn is able to fill the watch with pure silicon oil, which has the double affect of greatly enhancing the readability of the dial and time from any angle (including under water), and increasing the water resistance of the watch even at great depths. The special battery used to power the movement has an expected life of seven years before needing to be replaced. The Sinn UX is covered with a thick sapphire crystal for extreme protection. This sapphire crystal features a special anti-reflective coating that is virtually scratch-proof - the coating itself has been hardened to 1,800 HV. The uni-directional ratchet operated rotating bezel is also milled from this submarine steel. The indices are machined directly into the bezel without the use of bezel inserts, which can corrode or come loose at deep depths. The bezel features Sinn's patented Tegiment technology. This watch is designed for operation in extreme temperature variations - it operates in temperatures between -20° Celsius to +60° Celsius. This watch has been rated as waterproof according to the standards set under DIN 8310.

The Sinn U2 is designed to be virtually impervious to water penetration. The Sinn U2 case is made from the same German steel that is also used in the construction of the outer hull of submarines. The steel was by procured by Sinn from a steel supplier to Emden GmbH, one of Germany’s North Sea shipbuilding yards who construct submarines from the very same steel. This submarine steel is not only extraordinarily sea water resistant, it possesses also the highest anti-magnetic quality. Because of the special steel used from the submarine steel manufacturer, and the use of Sinn's Tegiment technology, this bezel can be hardened up to 1500 Vickers instead of the usual 220 Vickers. Further, the entire case resists the effects of exposure to salt water and salt water environments. The uni-directional ratchet operated rotating bezel is also milled from this submarine steel. The indices are machined directly into the bezel without the use of bezel inserts, which can corrode or come loose at deep depths. The international testing lab of Germanischen Lloyd has tested the U2, and determined that the watch can be certified as water resistant to 2,000 meters. This same firm tests submarines for their ability to withstand the effects of underwater use. The watch has an automatic mechanical movement, operating at 28,800 beats per hour, shockproof according to DIN 8308 specification and anti-magnetic according to DIN 8309 specification. It operates in temperatures between -45° Celsius to +80° Celsius due to the special lubricants in the movement applied in the Sinn laboratory. The new Sinn U2 has full UTC functionality through the use of an additional short red tipped hour hand which can be set independently from the primary time zone and indicates the second time zone using a 24 hour display. Screw down crown. The U2 features an argon filled cavity with two copper sulphate water absorbing capsules, which are visible at 6. Matte black dial with date at 3, Super Luminova on hands and markers, and striking red seconds hand complete the design. Other features include sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and rubber strap with double push deployant buckle and fliplock safety clasp.

This is the Hyperbar World Record Watch which has succesfully undergone pressue testing to depths of 39,600 feet (12,000m) Using a unique technology* this watch is able to withstand pressures no other watch can. The movement is in a self contained unit so there is no need for a screw down crown and the battery can be changed easily by the owner using a quick change thumbscrew panel (similar to the G10BH) in the back of the watch, so retaining it waterproofing.
*The HYPERBAR Deep Diver System is a mixture based on oil, replacing almost all the air in the watch case. So the pressure from the outside will be equalized by the same pressure from the inside, equivalent a force zero.
Advantages:
a) Excellent readability at all angles because the light does not get broken by the crystal and the disturbing reflections are falling away. At the same time the fluid acts as a magnifier.
b) Higher corrosion-resistance for all the parts inside the case due to the oily liquid.
c) Reduced wear out of the movement due to permanent lubrication.

EZM Design - EZM 6
Sinn is known for their professional special forces watches, called the Einsatzzeitmesser (EZM - in English "Mission Timer") series. Sinn has long been a supplier of watches to various divisions of the German special forces, including the GSG-9, border protection, customs, military and special police divisions. Designing watches for these units carries a number of requirements, including resistance to shocks, water, magnetism and temperature changes among others.
There is also a functional requirement in that the watch must be highly legible and the controls must be both accessible and easy to use in extreme environments. This watch takes its place as the new Sinn EZM 6, and you'll notice that the crown and pushers have been relocated to the left side of the case as is typical for EZM watches.
The Case
Initially released three years ago, this series is constructed from the same steel that is used on the outer hull of submarines. The steel was procured by Sinn from a steel supplier to Emden GmbH, one of Germany’s North Sea shipbuilding yards who construct submarines. This submarine steel is not only extraordinarily sea water resistant (PRE value up to 38), it also possesses the highest anti-magnetic quality.
Next, the Sinn U1000 features a completely Tegimented case, pushers, bezel and crown. Standard steel used by most watch companies has a hardness of between 200 and 240 HV (Hardness Vickers is a common scale used to measure material hardness). The Tegiment layer on this watch has a hardness of 1,500 Vickers which is more than six times harder than standard steel.
The Tegiment layer is not a coating consisting of a foreign material, instead the steel itself that has been hardened using a special engineering process that creates a hardened barrier. This process increases the submarine steel's resistance to corrosion, as well as provides extreme protection from scratches and other damage to the case.
Inside the Case
What's inside this watch also shows how Sinn engineers watches like no other. The base movement is a top grade Valjoux 7750 which Sinn has modified to create their SZ-02 calibre. The primary modifications consist of a redesigned minute register which actually counts 60 minutes rather than the typical 30. This register has been enlarged and is placed at 6, with the primary hour register located at 12.
Next, Sinn has used its special oil to construct the movement. The Sinn special oil, also known as Sinn 66-228, permits a greater range of operating temperatures from - 45Ί C to + 80Ί C - in other words, this watch will hold up in extreme conditions. To counter the affects of moisture and humidity, Sinn has applied their "Dry Hold" technology to this model, consisting of four copper sulphate capsules and the use of inert gasses sealed within the case.
Water Resistance
This watch represents a breakthrough on the testing of chronograph functions at great depths. The watch is not only rated water resistant to 1,000 meters, the pushers and other chronograph functions have also been tested to that depth. Each Sinn U1000 watch ships with a certificate from the international testing lab Germanischen Lloyd certifying these tests.
Sinn has developed a special system of double Viton® seals and other engineering processes to achieve this certification. While building a 1,000 meter dive watch is not in itself unique, building a diver's chronograph whose functions have been tested at that depth is an achievement.
The Bezel - Lock and Push
This watch features a brand new bezel design from Sinn. First, the bezel is attached to the watch with screws rather than friction mounted. These screws prevent the bezel from becoming detached through accidental contact with other objects. Next, the bezel is locked in place and will turn only if downward pressure is applied. This "lock and push" system ensures that time sensitive events (such as dives) will be correctly measured.

Ευχαριστώ παιδιά, αλλά κι εγώ δεν ξέρω πολλά για την εταιρία. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι, οτι είναι Ολλανδική και δείχνει ενδιαφέρουσα.

To Zinex Nitrox μπορεί να μην είναι πανομοιότυπο, αλλά Dreadnaughtκλώνος είναι. Όσο για το Trimix μήπως φέρνει σε Omega SM120 baby Ploprof; Προφανώς είναι homage ρολόγια κατειργημένων ρολογιών που αποτέλεσαν "σύμβολα".

Το Fondale είναι από τιτανιο Νο5, στεγανότητα 1000μ, οργανικό κρύσταλο με αντιανακλαστική επικάλυψη, καπάκι που βιδώνει με 6 βίδες, κορώνα pull-push(!), στεφάνη από που κινείται ανά 2,5 λεπτά (24 κλικ) με σημάδι από κίτρινο ή λευκό χρυσό ή ταντάλιο , διάμετρος 47χιλ, ύψος 16χιλ, μηχανή ΕΤΑ 2824. Εκδόσεις με βραχίονες 22χιλ και 24 χιλ, με ημερομηνία και χωρίς, με διάφορα χρώματα καντράν, με ή χωρίς pvd, με έκδοση αριστερής κορώνας, τα καινούρια έχουν πιο χοντρή κορώνα (δείτε τη φωτογραφία με την αριστερή κορώνα), με ή χωρίς στεφάνη. Δοκιμασμένο σε αποστολές στην Ανταρκτική και υποβρυχίως.

Φίλοι μου εδώ και μια τριετία διαβάζω μετά μανίας το θέμα με τα καταδυτικά και έχω μείνει άναυδος με τις δυνατότητες και τη στιβαρότητα της κατασκευής τους.Έφτασε λοιπόν η ευλογημένη ώρα να κάνω το βήμα για την αγορά ενός τέτοιου ρολογιού.Το πρόβλημά μου είναι ΠΟΥ μπορείς να δεις και να δοκιμάσεις αυτά τα μικρά θαύματα δεδομένου ότι οι περισσότερες μάρκες που έχω δει μου είναι εντελώς άγνωστες.Όποια βοήθεια για οποιαδήποτε από όλες αυτές τις εταιρείες καλοδεχούμενη καθ΄ότι ακόμα αναποφάσιστος.

Οι περισσότερες από αυτές τις εταιρείες ωστόσο δεν εκπροσωπούνται επίσημα στην Ελλάδα. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι τυχόν αγορά θα πρέπει να γίνει μέσω Ιnternet.
Επίσης, κάποια από αυτά τα ρολόγια αποστέλλονται από Αμερική, όπερ σημαίνει τελωνειακούς δασμούς, κου λου που, κου λου που. Μπλέκεις.

Φίλε bb ευχαριστώ πολύ για τη βοήθεια.Κάποιος φίλος με εμπειρία αγοράς τέτοιου εργαλείου (κυρίως κάποιου από αυτά τα Γερμανικά τέρατα) μέσω internet και εντυπώσεις?

Η πλειοψηφία των ρολογιών είναι πολύ καλά. Έχω λίγα από τα παραπάνω και είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Η αγορά από το ίντερνετ απλή διαδικασία. Αν το θέλεις δεύτερο χέρι σου προτείνω το WUS. Έχει μεγάλη κίνηση από καταδυτικά. Συμπτωματικά πωλείται τώρα ένα DREADNOUGHT.

Mετά που θα έχεις πιο ειδικές απορίες θα μπορέσουμε να σε "βοηθήσουμε" καλύτερα.

WUS = WatchUSeek είναι ιστότοπος που έχει και φόρα συζήτησης καταδυτικών μεταξύ των άλλων όπως και πωλήσεων από φορουμίστες. Ποια έχω εγώ ή ποια είναι κορυφαία (που είναι και σχετικό) δεν έχει σημασία. Σημασία έχει πόσα δίνεις και ποια σου αρέσουν περισσότερο. Εστίασε σ' αυτά τα ρολόγια για να μειωθεί η λίστα (γιατί είναι πάνω από εκατό), για να βοηθήσουμε με τη σειρά μας.

Δεν είσαι αδιάκριτος, απλά η κατοχή κάποιων ρολογιών από 'μενα δεν αποτελεί κριτήριο αξιολόγησης.
